Recycling School Uniform CIC
Recycling school uniform is a community interest company (CIC) and a social enterprise dedicated to school uniform reuse. Interested in providing more opportunities to all London young people communities not only to explore new creative ideas, gifts and talents but at the same develop a better life and social skills for themselves and future generations.
New uniforms are expensive because every item goes through a complex manufacture process including packaging and transportation that uses an extraordinary amount of electricity and water, carbon emissions and energy.All this process generates greenhouse gases, which causes climate change.
The fact is that by simply creating 1 tonne of new uniforms will generate 22 tonnes of greenhouse emissions
On the contrary, recycle uniform offer:
- A price reduction
- Energy saving
- A reduction in the manufacturing process
- And ultimately a reduction on greenhouse gas emissions
All these help save millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) a year that helps to protect the environment

Recycling School Uniform CIC wants to contribute towards a cost reduction, the perseverance of earth raw resources, which eventually will reduce carbon emissions (CO2). And to which will contribute to the protection of our planet.
Recycling School Uniform CIC is planning to provide thousands of bins across London schools, supermarkets, sports centres, community centres, community estates so that parents won’t have to go out of their way to help the environment.
